Come join us for one or both seminars!
Course #1 Legal and Ethical Responsibilities Course # 507345-NJ
This class is a blend of Ethics and Errors and Omissions, exploring the standard of care an agent owes to its carrier and to its client. Why just complying with the law isn’t enough if you want to be Ethical. We will look at precedent setting court cases to better identify what services and advices the Courts are (and are not) expecting an agent to provide to its client, and the results of falling short of the required standard of care. This class is a real eye opener, and one you don’t want to miss!
Course #1 Understanding the National Flood Ins. Program Course #505413-NJ
Don’t Get Caught Underwater!
There’s only one Federal Flood Plan and if you are going to use, you must know the Rules! Learn how to properly identify flood areas, use the most recent on-line resources available to agents, properly explain to clients what their policy covers and does not, and how to handle a claim. Discussion will focus on Sandy related claims and coverage or lack thereof. Did you know not filing a proof of loss within 60 days after the claim usually forfeits your right to coverage! This class will discuss the ins and outs of the NFIP/WYO and the Excess Flood Insurance markets. A must for anyone writing Flood Insurance.
The instructor is the always informative Steve Lyons and the seminar is held at the Radisson Hotel in Piscataway.
